ABOUT CHADSTONE

Chadstone is a peaceful and friendly area with plenty of parks and open green spaces to relax but you can still enjoy all the excitement of having the largest shopping centre in Australia right on your doorstep.

Chadstone is a small suburb of Melbourne, with parts previously known as Chadstone being rezoned to be incorporated into Malvern East.

14 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's CBD, in the local government area of the City of Monash. Neighbouring suburbs include Hughesdale, Mount Waverley and Holmesglen.

Several landmarks such as Chadstone Shopping Centre and the Chadstone campus of Holmesglen Institute of TAFE have retained their original names despite now being technically located just up the road in Malvern East.

Chadstone shopping complex is one of the largest shopping centres in the southern hemisphere with an extensive range of retail outlets, food and entertainment options.
