About Christmas Hills

Christmas Hills is a town 35km north-east of Melbournes CBD, consisting of a cluster of homes, a public hall, a tennis court, a memorial park with a World War I monument and a fire brigade.

Located between Kangaroo Ground and Yarra Glen, the terrain in Christmas Hills is much like that of its neighbors, heavily treed and hilly. It’s a beautiful suburb that boasts character and charm.

Also located here is One Tree Hill, part of a 143 hectare reserve managed by Parks Victoria home to 22 species deemed threatened or rare.

Sugarloaf Reservoir Park which has BBQ and picnic facilities is also and the reservoir is the water supply for the area.
