Preparing for your tenancy.

<p data-block-key="jhxt0">To ensure you have the right expectations regarding the commencement of your tenancy we will take you through an induction.</p><p data-block-key="37df9">Please note: Possession of the property will be granted once ALL of the following has been completed:</p><ul><li data-block-key="7rtvs"><b>Rent</b> - One month’s rent has been received by our agency.</li><li data-block-key="geir3"><b>Bond</b> - The full bond payment has been received by our agency.</li><li data-block-key="mvzvn"><b>Tenancy start date</b> - Your tenancy start date has been reached, as per your tenancy agreement.</li></ul><p data-block-key="ktb9j">To make your induction process as simple as possible, we ask you to observe the following important points:</p>

Your appointment time

Length of appointment

All renters to attend appointment

"No cash policy"

Original ID must be sighted

Bank Cheques / Money Orders for Bond

Connection of utilities.

<p data-block-key="y6bfo">You will be responsible for charges in respect of the re-connection and consumption of water, electricity, gas and telephone where the rented premises are separately metered for these services. Please contact your preferred suppliers to arrange connection for utilities such as Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water usage, Pay TV, and Renter&#x27;s contents insurance.</p>

Zero tolerance rent arrears policy.

<p data-block-key="jurjv">As a renter, your responsibility is to pay the whole amount of the rent that is due on a specific day each month. Please refer to your tenancy agreement for the details of the payment due and the relevant date.</p><p data-block-key="iilp1">All Barry Plant offices have a zero-tolerance policy on rental arrears. You may be served with a notice to vacate if you fall into arrears and have failed to make contact with your property manager.</p>
