Applying for a rental property.

Here's how to apply for a rental property with Barry Plant.

Before applying for a rental property you must inspect the property. Organised inspections are advertised on the property listing on our website, or you can contact the Barry Plant office managing the property to organise an inspection time. If you're interested in applying for a rental property with Barry Plant, here are the steps:

Step 1.
Use the find an office link on our website and find the Barry Plant office that manages the property. Click the office listing to go to their website.

Step 2.
Click on the menu icon (top right) and under the Rent menu on the office website you will find the Rental Application form.

Step 3.
Download and save the Rental Application PDF and complete the form.
If you do not already have the free Acrobat Reader application installed on your computer, you will first need to download it before downloading our Tenancy Application form.
You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader here.

Step 4.
Sign the form and scan copies of your Identification to make up the required 100 points of identification.
The identification requirements can be found on the application form.

Step 5.
Send your application to the Barry Plant managing office. Ways in which you might be able to send the application include:
- Scan and email the application to the office email address (as per the rental application form).
- Hand deliver the rental application to the office address (as per the rental application form).
- Fax the application to the office's fax (as per the rental application form).

If emailing or faxing your application it's always a good idea to check with the office that your application has been received.

Please note: Every adult applying for a property must individually complete a separate application. Applications will not be processed unless you have inspected the property, completed this application form in full, provided copies of your proof of identity and confirmed that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions by signing this document in the space provided below.
