ABOUT CROYDON

Nestled between Ringwood and Mooroolbark in the city’s outer-east, with a population of just over 26,000, Croydon is a relaxed area away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Croydon's Main Street a pretty, leafy shopping strip with cafes, bars and an arthouse cinema and over 187 retailers, including apparel, music, toys, hairdressers and many more businesses. There is plenty of parking on Main Street, both on the street and behind the stores. Croydon is also served by the Arndale Shopping Centre, which is located on Mt Dandenong Road, just across from Croydon Park and contains over 20 retail stores.

Popular with families, Croydon has excellent facilities, so many shopping options with the newly renovated Eastland, Chirnside Park and Westfield Knox very close by, for something a bit more relaxed for your grocery shopping etc, Croydon Central and Arndale Civic are a good choice.

Cyclists can ride the Tarralla Creek Trail and golfers can play the Dorset Golf Course.

There is the Croydon train station that runs on the Lilydale.

There is 10 schools in Croydon, as well as an array of other schools nearby in the surrounding suburbs.
