Mornington is a seaside town on the Mornington Peninsula, located 57 km south of Melbourne's CBD.

Mornington is known for its "village" atmosphere and is a popular tourist destination for Melburnians who often make day trips to visit the area's bay beaches and wineries.

The town centre runs into the foreshore area and local beach and is well serviced by buses and excellent council facilities for older residents.

There’s a cinema, local theatre and outdoor concerts held at local wineries and the Mornington Racecourse.

Mornington is served by three major roadways, Peninsula Link (Mornington Peninsula Freeway), Nepean Highway and Moorooduc Highway.
