About East Warburton

East Warburton is a town 67km east from Melbourne's central business district.

Situated a few kilometres outside Warburton, this picturesque area has the Yarra River running through it, and a landscape of hills, forests and farmland, as well some residential areas.  The community hall,  primary school, and Buddha Bodhivana Monastery are located on the Woods Point Road.  The Redwood Forest accessed via Cement Creek Road has become one of the area’s popular visitor locations.
